Nokia N8 Vs Google Nexus S - Review


How Google Nexus S and Nokia N8  compare? More importantly, one of these super-combined win in a battle of big phone?


Size and weight:

How our warriors compare with each other? Well, Nexus S is the thinner of the two phones, measuring 10.88mm to 12.9mm N8. Add the two phones on the weight and Nokia N8 weighs 135g, while Nexus S is a lighter shade to 129g.

Connectivity:

Let us consider the wireless capabilities. Concentrated technology boast N8 (10.2 Mbps) 3G/HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11g and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP. Google has filled his phone with 3G/HSDPA (7.2Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11g and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR.

Camera:

N8 12.0-megapixel lens offers a wide range of delicacies, such as Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, face / smile detection and 720p HD video capture and editing. N8 leads has improved a lot, but disappointing software for Symbian 3.0, while the S Nexus uses a pure Android 2.3 (gingerbread) build.

Storage:

Google and Nokia both have 16 GB of RAM packaging on their phones. Connect a larger memory card into the microSD expansion slot and N8 the maximum capacity is 48 GB of memory. Google has not built an expansion slot in the Nexus S, even though 16 GB is the maximum capacity.

Extras:

The N8 is also onboard 3D graphics acceleration, GPS / A-GPS (Maps with Ovi free), a digital compass, Web-TV, Flash support, FM radio (with RDS) and HDMI output with Dolby Digital Plus.

Nexus S has a GPS / A-GPS, which is dedicated to the GPU faster than the game, vibration feedback system for feedback, 3-axis gyroscope, a digital compass, contour curved screen and integrated Near Field Communication (NFC), the digital technology for future payments. Nexus S are also sold in the open, in order to work with any GSM carrier.
